Exploration

Exploration is a key aspect of CAMEC’s activities. The Company employs a number of exploration teams headed by experienced geologist who are conducting various programmes across the Company’s licence areas particularly in the DRC, Mozambique and Mali.

Exploration is considered key to the creation of value. Although many of the company’s exploration properties have quantified resources, these may not be compliant with modern standards. Therefore drilling is being initiated to advance these to JORC or SAMREQ status.

The primary focus is copper, cobalt and uranium in the DRC, Fluorspar in South Africa, coal in Mozambique and bauxite in Mali.
